The house
Cal Gravat is a welcoming house of two floors, restored conserving the old distribution of the rooms, some of them peculiarly excavated in the rocks. The wine cellar and the walls of the two floors excavated in the mountain are the main charms/enchantment of the house.
The house is located in the high street, 50 meters from the castle that presides over Montsonís and is ideal to spend some days in couple or for a familiar excursion with the children.
Entering by the main door of the house, we go into the dining room and a very large kitchen. Going down the stairs, we arrive at the small wine cellar, a cave excavated on the rock where the smallest ones often imagine many games and adventures to play.
On the first floor, following the stairs carved along the rock, there are two rooms: a double bedroom and another one with two individual beds. On this floor, we also find a very spacious bathroom totally equipped and reformed. All the windows view the High street. The natural light illuminates all Cal Gravat. The sun rays directly illuminate the dining room and the kitchen, the light is softer in other places giving the house a comfortable and cosy atmosphere.
